Cement companies and power plants are petitioning against the EPA. H.R.2681 is coming up for the Senate vote which is there only hope in pushing back the regs. No chance in passing, especially with Ash Grove using IFS2. All it takes is one plant conforming and the rest will have to follow. The main argument against the EPA is that it is too restrictive and the required mercury levels cannot be reached. That argument should become invalid with this first contract.
