Latest local news is that a strong consideration for a Casino managed and supported by the people who do the Hard Rock Cafe is under consideration for Westfield Massachusetts.

Its the 3rd largest city in land area in the state and has a TON of land available by the airport, PERFECT for a casino.

Area business such as Hotel and Restaurant would love the additional business, and the traffic can be pushed off to the North Side of the Mass Pike Exit keeping the town relatively free of problems.

Most of us in the area are tired of the drive to Southern Connecticut and would love something nearby. New buildings good for morale, and possibly even the dating age folks will benefit with the creative folks from Hard Rock Hotels.

Local papers say the infrastructure studies show that it will be less costly to the state than other locations being considered.

We shall see.
