VRNG's Potential = COIN's Potential

Taken from YHOO's MB:

"Do not assume that Vringo has nothing to bring to the table in the merger and that IP holds all the cards with the patent litigation. Do your do diligence and research Vringo’s patent portfolio. With or without IP, Vringo is going to be extremely profitable in the near future. With their patents regarding Video Ringtones and advertisement based dialing, it appears that they have cornered the technology regarding advertisements embedded into video ring tones. Imagine the possibilities with that. This is a fledgling technology that Vringo holds the patents for. Once the idea is mainstreamed there will be no end to the revenue stream from advertisements and licensing. Once the Facetones App becomes better known it will be a cash cow for advertisement. Have you downloaded the app? The free app inserts an advertisement into the slide show everytime somebody calls or texts.

In addition Vringo’s Patent application, filed August 6, 2008, for advertisement based dialing offers huge potential. In the application it states “The present invention may provide web-based dialing for mobile communications devices. Thus, a user may view a web page from his mobile device, click on a desired telephone number and the mobile device may dial the selected telephone number.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t search engines (Google) already use this technology with cellular phone searches. When you search for example “restaurants” on your cell phone and click on one of the websites, you can then click on the phone number and it will dial. If I am correct, once Vringo is granted the patent, it will own that technology and everybody else will have to license it from Vringo or face infringement law suits. Again Vringo filed for the patent on Aug 6, 2008. With the avancement of mobile phones (Android) A large percentage of searches are being conducted by mobile phones instead of by computers.

It would make sense for Google to want to buy both IP and Vringo as a package deal. It would make further sense to purchase Vringo/Ip before Vringo is granted its patent for advertisement based dialing. After that the price will only go up exponentially. Google has been focusing an enormous amount of money in the cellular phone industry as of late. For example the purchase of Motorola Mobility. Google knows the potential that the cellular phone market provides."
