The immediate elephant in my livingroom is the absence of Jwez. I believe he was going to try to contact SP on Wednesday to see if any new information was available.
Now I do not know Jew personally, but he has been very conscientious about keeping us informed as best he could in an appropriate manner. I have no idea about why he is silent, and I hope above all else that he is alright. One thought that has revisited me several times today is this: I could see SP asking JWEZ to let him [SP] be the one to deliver the next bit of information rather than Jwez giving us a hint or two. I could easily see JWez agreeing to that because it would be the gentlemanly thing to do and fairly or not, we have come to rely on Jwez to act as de facto spokesperson for the Tivus shareholders...something he never really wanted to be to begin with but simply does because he's probably just a really decent guy.
As for Mr. Truckenmiller's appearance on the scene, now that he sits in a copilot seat onboard this flight, he is likely putting some things in order so that Tivus, from this point out lives up to the level of credibility he brings to it. His reputation is on the line and as good as his rep is, he knows it is much, much harder to fix a damaged rep than it is to keep the good one you already have.
I hate the waiting as much as a Vulcan can and the silence is "illogical". Even an explanation as to why things can't be divulged could be reassuring on some level,but hopefully SP is taking all this in so as to put some teeth in his statements that he looks forward to his highest priority as he says, communicating with his investors.
