ICEquity - those Frito-Lay electric trucks you referred to in Post 17 were, as reported, supplied by Smith Electric http://www.smithelectric.com

I have long thought that Balqon and Smith might combine quite nicely sometime in the future. Smith Electric is about to be listed on Nasdaq - announcement expected any day now (revised S-1 Filing lodged with SEC on April 4, and company apparently keen to go for ipo as soon as SEC give the nod). Smith ticker will be SMTH and I started a thread here earlier in readiness.

A Balqon-Smith combination would offer an awesome range of EV products, making it harder for subsequent newcomers to take market share away from them. Both offer well-proven trucks and both are singing from the same hymn-sheet in explaining the logic of using battery power in the specific markets they address.
