mayhem, this is pretty elementary but suppose there were 10,000 acrs of proven oil-rich land and you owned 3,000 acres right in the middle of this 10,000 acres. On your North was ExxonMobil, on your East was Texaco, on your South was Shell and on your West was BP. How would you feel about your 3,000 acres? Pretty good? I would. IMO Junebug
