What is you definition of "evidence" exactly? Because as a scientist I would say empirical data is evidence. Now if you search the medical literature, you will find plenty of evidence for a positive effect of cannabinoids against cancer. Good studies will have controls for some other mitigating factors. Furthermore, we have biochemical studies showing how it reacts with cancer cells to kill them.

You don't believe the evidence because you just haven't looked for it...
