Recently here in Calgary a friend of mine started a junior oil company. He aquired several parcels of land in various places in Alberta. Currently they are drilling low risk non frac light oil wells in commonly drilled formations.

Cannacord is soon to take them public on the Venture exchange however he will still do private deals I am sure.

They aquired a good land position in the Cardium next to Barricks Holding. That will be the takeover I am thinking or joint venture.
