Were those knock ins or knock outs. The way i understand it, just as first mike explained, those were knock outs. Well you want news of that result, you just got it. If they can now move to knock ins, ie final step to creating a transgenic, then of course the knock outs worked, because you need a gap to put that knock in.

So there you have a result. Knock outs worked, Next step knock ins. Ie just happened, sit and wait to see if one or more transgenic is created.
