I really don't know why everybody is attacking the review austonia wrote. I think it was an honest attempt from someone who obviously has more experience with these type of players then many here who would rather attack his review instead of write their own. His review was not bad, his biggest complaints were the ID3 tags and the case. Both of these complaints are very, very fixable (is that a word??). I for one would rather have these type of correctable complaints rather than some serious short coming like a cheesy sound or build quality like the Archos suffers. I think many here are a little upset this player isn't the real IPOD killer we all hoped for, its a competitor just as the ZEN is, but not the killer as of now. In all honesty I wonder if anyone truely knows what a "killer" player would be anyway. Guess it would basically have to look like ours and have every single feature going, maybe even have a direct car player link.
We still have Digitalway's version to look forward to, since all indications they won't have the VoiceNav and who knows what if any cover they will include. So the 2 knocks against our player may not even be an issue with theirs. Digitalway also seems to have a leg up on what they put in their version. From what we know they also make the Samsung players, if you assume they will be makeing the YP-900, then they already know how this thing works, you have to figure they would make their MPIO player at least as competetive.
