Let me just throw this out there because it is a very reasonable situation that could unfold.
In regards to the funding, which some people feel is all but wrapped up. They are going to be speaking with additional funders over the next week or two. These funders are going to see the complete business plan, all the inside works and everything going on with the company. Multiple offers could come from these meetings. If funders see the potential and want to invest, what would stop them from purchasing shares from the float.....especially if Tom turns the funding down for another offer.
The point being, a lot of people with a lot of money are looking to get their hands in this. It is only common sense to say, money will be flowing around buying up some of the float at these prices for funders that get left out or even the funder that is chosen!
