lets try copy and pasting all of the information you read like when you say

Secondly, Gerteisen doesn't know what is going on with his company or hasn't read the website, as it states under the "How Lokdrop Works" tab that
Quote:
Best of all you receive UNLIMITED space on our server
but on the press release,
Quote:
Amwest looks to achieve a higher number of users on LokDrop's 50GB accounts

if you read even a fifth of the home page you would see this

We encourage you to try our encrypted online storage hosting and collaboration service starting at only $1.99/month with 5GB of storage. With LokDrop your data is safe, backed up, encrypted, and secure

"starting at" which means that just like every other paid services, different amounts of money paid give you different amounts of use. as in unlimited storage may cost $99.99 a month and 50 GB of storae may cost $49.99 a month and down the line it goes.

you quoted it yourself

New mobile applications are also on board in R&D at Amwest

mobile applications means for smart phones "R&D" meaning research and development. put it together and in elementary terms it means that Amwest has been researching and further developing smart phone applications to give you the same security as lokdrop does to your computer, only its for everything smart phone including phone calls. i challenge you to develop an application on just the android market, i have, and thus i can tell you it is not an easy process. which means that they (AMWI) are on the right track to a roll out of mobile applications and it may be some time before we see it hit the markets.

so i guess that retail places are shells too because they pay all media outlets to tell them how great they are as well.

and IMO Mr. G didn't announce this at the san fran expo because they still have the much bigger Japan expo. which coming from a public relations specialists point of view, the bigger the camp, the more campers, the quicker the message will be received by many.
