The 10k MUST be correct or I am sure the SEC would get pissed. The previous financials from 2000 were unaudited and have to be adjusted for product that hasn't shipped until 2001. This is all a common practice for companies that plan to ship product by the end of the year, but don't for whatever reason. When watching other companies, how often do the quarterly numbers match the year end figures? It always changes, no big deal.
I completely disagree about the "tight company" comment. This shows they are not throwing things together and are currently "tightening" the ship.
