Hotels routinely use ozone fog to get rid of tobacco odors. It works too. I think a lot depends on the concentration of your ozone, how and when it is used and exact precautions taken.

However, sometimes laws are passes with an excess of caution...presuming someone would fail to proceed correctly and what then?

But when you think about it - the potential of failure to proceed correctly attends many daily activities in healthcare settings. That said, sure hope the company would not have to get the law's language mdoified just to be able to do business.
