Sports was my life.....I've been in the sports business since 1978.......started the first NFL Calendar program, I held NFL licenses, did one of the first Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader calendars and did every single team in the country. I was first in on the MLS, did the first life size image in sports with a growth chart of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, have patents in sports.......one of which has sold over 200 million and counting........which was the Pompon patented in 1989 patent # 4,806, 396 (for retired analyst........who doubts everything) and as far as Denny has gone with his resume I can go on with mine. I'll not toot my horn any more, but let me give you a few stats........
#1. You naysayers are full of hot air. This is not only going to explode, but it's going to succeed where others have failed. Reason........grit and glamour. I have seen it all and if well laid out the curiosity will prevail along with the talent it garners. Fun to see these gals lace it up.......and in as much as it is a novelty..........the Dallas Cheerleaders were a novelty and it took our wonderful USA Soccer gals to catch on.......what did they do............Oooops! World Champions and at a level that gives me national pride.
#2. Think about that for a minute.......... these gals are the real McCoy. They play for the "love of the game" and not for 10 year $242,000,000 contract to hit a baseball out of the park. Speaking of effort.........Wow..........in motion a baseball game is 17 minutes of unspoken action. These gals will bust their butts and give you a good show.
#3. WWF...... what a joke?? Guys choreographing their moves, leaping off of ropes, razor blade their forehead to cause blood in their face, Roiding it up so they look like Neanderthals...........but what.........oh right they sell out and Hulk Hogan makes millions..........fake as a 287 dollar bill..........but American's are different and the world likes different..........
#4. Acceptance.......did you ever see a top match of woman's volley ball.......pure fun and excitement. I see these gals giving it the old college try, work hard and entertain. This may not be Brady to Welker, but it is entertainment and it will not only galvanize a good many women who love football with their men, but would eat up some of this action too. I for one would watch..........and I most certainly can offer up some advise.
