wow. you couldn't be more wrong.., thank you though i needed the laugh this morning.

"This is not rocket science. PVSP engineers suddenly stumbled unto the least it, and cry EUREKA!"

You must have no clue what h264 compression rates are. streaming high-end video is extremely difficult. just to compress a standard image into an mpeg/h264 format takes special programs and systems. to do that live takes machine rooms.

"With Skype and most other VVOIP system, the voice component is priorized over the video component. So, when bandwidth is tight, you keep the voice going and let the video lag."

so your saying skype has a program that seperates audio and video and then chooses what to send to your phone first? maybe try uploading some web pages and notice how certain pictures come in first. that's your connection not skype hindering information to a server.

"Unlike voice packets, that have a QoS, a guaranteed Quality of service, VOIP internet packets, especially those issued by cell phones, are subjetct to many bandwith and timing vagaries, including just plain lost packets."

Actually any company can get a QoS once under certain guidlines. Vonage is a Voip and they have a QoS. A QoS doesn't even matter. It's GoS, grade of service that matters.

it's not rocket science it's computer engineering
