Oz, Neither....Anticipation is what drives the market...You and I have had cocktails and spun a few yarns so I respect your knowledge but cannot see how an investor such as yourself could stay in the market and make money if you only make decisions on stated earnings, and for that matter on revenues. I was a stock broker for many years and I never had a client who informed me he would only buy a stock if he saw the revenues and/earnings...I NEVER did that for my own personal trades either...

You KNOW the daily stock prices are a reflection of future earnings....Sometimes taken out as far as six months. I ask an honest question....Do you think you would make money, lose money, or just break even if you invested the day the quarterly reports were released???

In effect what you are telling me is you would not entertain investing in a so-so company who had recently been awarded a patent for a revolutionary device (shall we say a better mouse trap) until you saw the quarterly report as to its profitablilty. I hate to tell you my friend but by that time all the good pickings would be gone.....Anticipation....The possibilities.....I am not waiting around until AFTER everyone has jumped in.......Just a thought....Frank
