it does indeed show the lack of self confidence, i'm confident enough that in the inverse world, i could be that 1 guy saying "this stocks going to go far" and as many people that are telling him he's stupid would be telling me i'm stupid... yet i'd still be throwing money into because i'm just that god damn stubborn haha
