Hi bab1,
welcome to the board.

I'm sorry but i have to disagree with you here.
1) Apple did not become successful because they gave away computers. Apple made tons of strategic errors in the beginning, this included as well as product design and closed architecture issues.

It's not until AAPL completely reinvented themselves as the perfect consumer gadget that they became the 'cool' brand.

2) It wasn't Cannabis Science that said they were giving product away for free, it was the other guy from California. Sorry I forgot his name. CBIS is not the only one in the medicinal cannabis business but they are by far the most positioned to gain market share and have Dr's, Academics and executive leadership.
