Cuts, Consolidations and Savings.
I see where the 2013 budget costs cutting and savings is allowing the mint to experiment with alternative materials used in the manufacture of pennies and nickels (see page 173). Perhaps they would consider bringing back the silver dollar...LOL Hey, silver is cheap! This would also relieve the FED from having to print all those $1 bills! Allowing Ben to focus on those $100 bills... You know, while we are at it why don't we metalize all paper dollar denominations? Hmmm.
