You're probably completely right, but it's nagging the hell out of me.

If the company is doing so well of late, why not sit on a merger/acquisition and let its potential value rise? Why do it now when the company has just begun seeing a positive recovery from a major setback? Why not wait a year and show all interested companies they're gonna have to pay top dollar to get their paws on Atrinsic? Right now, interested companies might not get away with the absolute lowest price possible, but they can definitely get away with buying on the cheap for a company that might regain most, if not all, of its pre-setback potential. It's just not making sense to me, unless the company is not doing as well as appears, or maybe even as well as they thought they were gonna be even as soon as a couple months ago.
