Thank you for you comments. I do appreciate them. I am still holding my sterling seeing that I think it is the correct thing to do at this time. I am also keeping my coins partially due to the silver fundamentals and partially due to the fact I like to collect.

I learned of another avenue for sterling many may not be aware of - silver musical instruments. It seems some instruments such as flutes were sometimes heavy in sterling silver content. I am going to have to do more research on this one but it seems interesting.
