I don't understand the logic behind people saying that LNET would partner with Tivus or buy out Tivus. The fact is, LNET and every other hotel-centered IPTV company has 90% of the technology in place as Tivus is offering. The Tivus technology is slightly different and the business model is different (additional revenue sharing), but even Roomlinx offers hardware at no cost to the owner, so that's not even a revolutionary concept.

In my opinion it would be easier for LNET to invest the money to create similar technology. After all, LNET has made it this far, they obviously have the ability - and I have to think they would have the contacts and networking in place, more so than Shiva.

I don't think Shiva has any plans to have any involvement with LNET. Tivus is his baby, and it's his gold mine if he ever gets it going full speed. Do you really think he would want to spend all of the time and money and effort getting to this point, only to sell it off for some undervalued fixed lump sum? No way...not when he has the potential for a continuous revenue stream and relatively unlimited growth potential.

Host might partner with him - but he will not partner with LNET.

All IMO of course.
