Can we transfer our shares from Etrade to Fidelity and be able to trade after the transfer? This is confusing. Can we transfer to UBS at this time and be able to trade if transferred from Etrade to UBS or Fidelity? Which one do we transfer shares to? You mentioned about someone having shares disappear. That's like money just being thrown away. He got the shares back, right? All cleared up?

What do you advise to get shares in Etrade able to trade? (transfer to where? Will the DTC eventually be lifted? If yes, when? Soon?)
