The 12% notes traded in the $22.5 - 32.14 range today according to finra. I seldom buy at the price offered by my broker and have never had any problem placing firm limit orders. Getting a fill is sometimes more difficult for unlisted bonds as your broker's bond desk has to phone around to other traders to try and get the order filled - if the bond trader is busy he may not make an effort to get your order filled, particular if it is a small order.
