You want my opinion: Chris Brown accepted the gig. RJ rejected him because of the negative press that could come from it. Other headliners couldn't commit for whatever reason. Then Chris Brown became the fall back headliner because the date of the event is fastly approaching. ALL IMHO OF COURSE..I like to paint pictures. So the idea (or spin if you will) that this was a deliberate altruistic act of marketing redemption is a highly unlikely, yet valid, OPINION.
