Because I prefer facts over fiction and I don't like "grey" areas---I sent off a few questions for clarification to a contact associated with the event. Here is part of his latest response:

We are still waiting to see, but I haven't heard anyone say the event would not happen. In fact Spanish River High School already announced the event would take place (but it didn't specify who the bands would be)
