i have a feeling your a little more knowledgable than your message implies, after reading your most recent posts however i will respond all the same... Bid stacking is important for several reasons... first it implies interest in the stock...ie; no bid or bids far below the ask implies little or no interest. Secondly when playing any stock no matter the PPS a stacked bid offers the luxury of time in the event of a selloff... should you get caught with bad news etc. you can ussually sell before a steep dive.. lastly and i believe most importantly if the bid is stacked heavy new investors feel like they can't get thier buy order filled at the bid, hence they feel forced to buy @ the ask... i hope this helps and i like your last few posts
