There are only 340 stocks that trade on the OTCQX compared to 3,634 on the OTCQB, and over 6,000 on the Pinks. So the QX is small and exclusive with stocks that trade at a considerably higher PPS. Interesting fact is that those 340 securities on the QX equal almost $100mil and the 3,634 equal only $150mil. So you can see the PPS's are much higher on QX stocks. This is the most elite tier on the OTC. Basically these are all "real" companies with most generating legit revenue and not scams like you see on the QB and especially in the "stinky pinks"

From the OTCmarkets.com website:

OTCQX – The Quality-Controlled Marketplace

OTCQX is the top tier of the OTC market. Exclusively for companies that meet the highest financial standards and undergo a qualitative review. Investor focused companies use the quality-controlled OTCQX platform to offer investors transparent trading, superior information, and easy access through their regulated U.S. broker-dealers.
