My understanding is...With a JV each company keeps their own identity...two companies working together to get something done. (mine Lithium)
With a Merger two companies blend into one.
So uplisting ,to my way of thinking,leans toward joint venturing...but I am not an expert by any means.
I did post an article that addresses uplisting that may be a bit of help-as one of my other stocks is due to merge within the month.
