That has been the most likely bet as to what is occupying the TMTA engineers working for MSFT. However, it does not square
with A Swift's comments last week that:

1) no license revs are involved in the MSFT deal; and
2) TMTA will only provide NRE svcs if they lead to license
revs or product sales.

Maybe the MSFT deal is somehow exempt from this rule, but maybe it isn't.
