In the old days, a lot of the officers just made you get out of your car and come back and sit in theirs anyway ..... Especially if it was cold or rainy! LOL

Yeah, I imagine that 'third degree' ws all just part of their 'screening' of passengers. They get lots of training in 'deception detection' and then put that to use, versus the scanners and pat down searches.... Seems to work for them!
