SIRG's Chloride Copper mine is a straight shot west on I-40, I assume you are driving. Unfortunately you will need to cross most of the state of Arizona. Then you could continue on to Vegas, only another 75 miles but the trip over Hoover Dam makes it worth it. They just completed a bypass road that is an engineering marvel to see.
