I didn't say they promised me anything. I said "we", indicating the shareholders. As I just said: if you owe someone $4 million and you issue them shares to pay them off, you can't make those shares worthless tomorrow, lest you'd still be on the hook for that $4 million. It's essentially shorting your own stock, which is ILLEGAL. I feel like I'm arguing with a tree.
