Lithium
e3a3 International offers a rare value proposition. Despite being an abundant metal, economically viable lithium deposits are not plentiful. Along with Bolivia, which faces significant infrastructure and political challenges to developing its lithium resources, Chile has the most extensive lithium reserves in the world. In 2008, over 50% of the world’s lithium resource was provided from Chile. According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Bolivia has an estimated 5.4 million tons of lithium, Chile has 3 million tons, China has 1.1 million tons, and the U.S. has about 410,000 tons.
e3a3 is currently in discussions with concession owners in Chile to finalize long term mining rights for lithium resources. The lithium production will deal directly with end-user manufacturers to become a reliable resource for the creation of new technologies that rely heavily on lithium chloride.
