If you directing that question at me...which I believe you are then educate me on what MMR holds and maybe I will come to your side of the equation. As I understand it, MMR holds a utility patent(s) which essential fall into the following category:

Utility Patent- Issued for the invention of a new and
useful process, machine, manufacture, or composition of
matter, or a new and useful improvement thereof.

So the concept of uploading medical records to a third party database manager via MMR software may be considered "new and useful" however unless MMR has some proprietary system that makes this approach different.I don;t see how you could ever enforce it. Is there a new encryption or compression technology that MMR has discovered...what is it? IMO patent easily defeated and BL has no resources to take on ANY more litigation.
