I'm actually at home today nursing a cold and listened to the jury verdict.

It sounds like the jury got it right and they are also sending a message as well.

This could have been resolved by asking for a change in roommates if the guilty party had an issue. To do what he did and cause someone to take his life is disgraceful in our society today.

Kids need to grow up.

As if things could get any more ignorant, the basis for the band's racism was itself misguided. Rodriguez was born in Puerto Rico, a commonwealth of the United States. Even if he hadn't grown up in Miami and starred for a high school basketball team in that city, he'd still be an American citizen and have no need for a green card. Ignorant ignorance; it's the best kind.


Maybe it's time for colleges to ban access to Facebook and Twitter or at least teach kids about morals.

And when I mean morals it's accepting all people regardless of race, creed, sexual preference etc.

Two lives wasted.
