If they were going to "begin service in August of 2012" at a eco-tourism sight at the South Fork, they would have to have started the paperwork process by now in order to open a business. I would assume there would be some kind of building or parking area where the tourists would be taken to do there touring.Even if it is a parking lot and small trailer they would need permits. Which would already be in progress somewhere.
As for the core samples...I would assume that some county authority would have to know where these samples are being taken and the preparations made so that results would be filed with them.
