It's been my experience that the melanin blessed
tend to favor those of their kind who are less blessed.

A black friend of mine clued me into this when I was in Manhattan. She was up in arms about Spike Lee's School Daze. I didn't get why. She said he was blabbing a secret that the black community did not want made public. What was that? That blacks are biased against the darker of their own kind. Wow. Eye opener.

My latest brush with this came from one of the Indians I work with. She constantly referred to some in the community as having "good color" meaning they were lighter.

Talk about projection. Just because they have a problem with darkness doesn't mean whites "necessarily" do.

People are silly about the dumbest things.
