gfp: Sending a 3rd Carrier group, even if the "Big E" is scheduled for decommissioning certainly sends a signal to Iran that some conflict is inevitable. I would hate to see it. We've sacrificed too many lives and too much treasure already. But we're pushing Iran into a corner, much like we did to Japan in the late 1930's and into the early 1940's. If I were on the crew of the Enterprise I'd be pretty scared right now because you're right....they are the most obvious target for a false flag attack or some intentional 'situational negligence' allowing an actual Iranian attack that could have been prevented. I don't trust our government one iota, so with them anything is possible.
