I was referring to ASM (the company) that had the DOD/VA contract for the "heart" of the i-EHR system. Other work on I-EHR is still progressing.
ASM will get a chance to re-bid with others on the i-EHR software contract (from Washington Tech, Mar 5, 2012) "The $102.6 million Veterans Affairs Department software contract awarded to ASM Research in January, but which was then canceled on Feb. 28 after a conflict of interest was cited, has now been reopened to the original bidders. VA spokeswoman Josephine Schuda told NextGov that VA will make another best-value selection based on the remaining offerers in the competition. NextGov, citing industry sources, said Harris Corp., SAIC, SRA International and 7 Delta have submitted competing bids to create the software for the integrated electronic health records system."
This is all part of the Transformation 21 (T4).
