You are correct on the distance...Woods leads the tour on total driving stats..which is a combo of distance and accuracy. He had lost some distance in the past due to injury, swing change, etc.

I believe the bulk doesn't hurt his golf per se as long as he's flexible too, but the intense working out will have a toll on the body. Plenty of slighter built players hit it plenty far... Bubba one example.
