The very very very few brokers out there that allow you to trade penny stocks on margin, or short them, have crazy requirements, you have to open up an account in most cases with a ton of cash, and you also have to use 5 times your buying power to buy any of these, regardless of the price..

So yes you can "do it" but is it practical? Is it something that most people could do? Is it worth it?

No... No... and NO....
