I know such a technology exists, it has also been used in South Africa (Sasol) since pre-independence times. But you miss the point that the claim was made that Malcolm has his own technology for it. And what has it got to do anyway with Malcolm converting Tasmanian high-ash thermal coal into high value coking coal (or is it blending Tasmanian and Appalachian coal at the point of sale?).
