If there were shorts, it could look like that, if they think it's time to close position, do it at any cost. There have been a few other days like this over past few months. On the 12/28 & 2/2 a bunch of buying at ask in short periods. I personally think it is chart related, trying to initiate a reversal/trend break. Today there was really no reason to be buying at .025, someone with big bankroll looking to push it higher (which is fine by me). Needs to follow through now.
