How is an emptor supposed to caveat if they cannot make contact with the other end of the chain and confirm they exist and are of the same mind?

I love the internet, you can find out a lot from google but there is nothing like making direct contact with a person via e-mail. Even then there is no absolute certainty. But it makes sense to check all angles as thoroughly as possible. Especially when you know a company has misled the market through its PR and Filings in the past - remeber there was a JV with TOGL filed with SEC.
