...I don't think names are removed for "amendments" unless the the amendment is that a new investigator is taking over...and I can't think of any "amendment" to this trial that would take over six weeks to obtain...and MOST ESPECIALLY, who institutes amendments fourteen MONTHS into a trial that isn't even REQUIRED except to impress third party reimbursers?...

...practically any alteration in the protocol at this point would force them to go back to square one...even something as simple trying to add patients would violate the rules of statistics and experimental design and taint the entire study, forcing them to start over...
