Very good read.
We are not selling a dog food product as a launch product or even as a flagship product as of yet.
This article goes a long way for more then just dog food but anyone with online business model. The warehouse is a good point as well. I guess it would just depend on how this product sells.
Obviously the big brand stores are going to be carrying it based off of what we have so far so a larger warehouse is costly if rented.(I am looking to buy a 10ksqft warehouse in az for 220k built 2005 in a great area)
The Pawtizer product is probably fairly cheap to produce and the packaging should be as well and as for the shipping it would depend on the container used and I would hope they have factored that in.

The vitamin mix probably has a good price tag and is cheap to produce as well. I know my woman spends 50$ for a bottle that lasts 2 weeks for our 2 dogs. Small bottle easy and cheap to ship.

The portable meal bar which is one full meal which is the amnt my dog gets a day is a decent idea as well and I know I would use it but I think its the last item I would think that would be profitable.
At the same time it could be huge.

The first two use very few ingredients and are much less costly I would think. I mean a spray or cloth with the solution added to it is a fairly cheap product to produce. Vitamins in bulk are cheap and simply mixed and put in a tab form =cheap

The dog bar though seems like it would be much more costly to produce. You have items that have a shelf life and items that need to be mixed in a much larger volume. The cutting and packing is not expensive. I would think the profit compared to the first 2 is much less factoring the cost of shipping and the volatility of raw materials.

I DONT SEE ANY OF THESE BEING LESS THEN 10$ EXCEPT THE FOOD BAR which is why I am happy the cornerstone product is the Pawtizer.
