In this case, the symbol change will help because they will be leaving behind the identity of the old company, and moving forward with their own. Many traders, some on this board who are just in and out not everydayers in fact, still think of this as a POS teeth whitening company, which left a bad taste in their mouth, (excuse the pun). this could bring in once reluctant buyers into the new company, IMO.

How does a symbol change help this stock? I am new to this and asks once before but nobody answered me...thanks for any help :)
