Intel confirms chip recall

CHIP GIANT Intel confirmed it had recalled a batch of chips but said it was due to defects in the heatsink rather any problems with the processor. It also said the batch was of a very limited number. Although a representative wouldn't be drawn on the number recalled, our understanding is that it could affect only a hundred or so
